For those of you looking for the latest Android 4.2.1, check out the Android 4.2.1 ROM for HTC One X by XDA user PabX. This Android 4.2.1 ROM gives you a “pure” Android experience, essentially turns your phone into a Nexus 4.
Now, there’s also multi-user support on this ROM (normally not available on Android 4.2.1 phones like Nexus 4), which means you can have multiple users on your phone. So if your kids use your phone often for playing games and whatnot, you can have all of your own apps separate from your kid’s apps.
Not only that, you will be able to experience Android 4.2.1 camera, GMail, lockscreen, and a whole lot more.

Download Android 4.2.1 ROM
To install, reboot into TWRP recovery, do data wipe/factory reset, install ROM, install Gapps, reboot to Bootloader. Then install boot image via fastboot. (Fastboot command is: “fastboot flash boot rc11boot.img”.) (See How to Install ROM and boot image.)

On International OneX. Installed the rom using TWRP. Installed GApps. Flashed boot image using flashboot.
Now the phone does not start. It is stuck at the loading sign (Nexus loading sign)
you need to fastboot the boot img across to your phone before it will boot up.
just hold power and vol down, and then boot to recovery.
the bottom lights might flash a bit, but keep holding down.
I miss customizable roms with a lot of tweaks, such as ViperX, This one is not that powerful

Am not super familliar with TWRP. Will this work with CWM?
I installed this last night using cwm
I had the same issue with the ROM that pratyush had. The boot process will not go past the white screen. And yes I flashed the boot image using fastboot. I went back to AOKP until someone comes up with some more info. I will check back later
I had this issue last night before I flashed the boot img.
I also had to clear the cache in recovery after installation.
Also make sure you’ve installed gapps.
Hi! I have a little problem trying to install this rom on my phone, when i try to “Install zip from SD card”
it says ” E: Can’t open /sdcard/Download/rc11.zip (bad) Installation aborted”
Could someone please help me?

can I put this on my one x. I haven’t updated my hboot but I’ve always put roms on my fone ok from this site.
ive downloaded this rom on my 1x and its deleted near all my memory, sum 1 please help me fix it. thank you

is it ATT or international, what is your firmware, is the phone rooted, do you have CW or TWR as a recovery… things like that. it’s OK if you don’t know, we’ve all started from zero….
international yes phone is rooted. cw. I’ve heard it’s happened to other people who downloaded this romantic as well. Thanks for ur help
