For those of you who want a sneak peek at what’s coming up with Sense 4.5, you can check out InsertCoin Sense 4.5 Beta ROM. Based off a Chinese Sense 4.5 leak, this ROM brings you the “development” version of Sense 4.5 and you can try out some of the new features like the video camera with more bitrate options. There’s also some other features you will find added with Sense 4.5 and this is a pretty good ROM to get your first look.

So, if you want to find out, flash this ROM and let me know what new things you find!

    Hi,
I’m thinking about installing a new ROM myself, however, I haven’t had the guts yet. :-) However, when you at install new ROMs and show them at OneXRoot.com, would it be possible for you to also test how e.g. the higher bitrate in videos improve the video quality compared to the original ROM. HTC One X usually records videos around 23-24 fps – and not what one would like: 30 fps. I’m guessing that installing another ROM may change that to the better (or worse?)?

BTW the same goes for photos that are compressed extremely high compared to the RAW photo that is taken. Does changing the ROM give one access to get higher image quality?

    Best,
    Uffe

@zedomax Hi, I have a problem with WiFi strength after I had installed several kernels. I have two HTC One X phone “the second one is my sister’s” and there is a big difference in the WiFi strength. I restored the stock kernel but that didn’t solve the problem. I even backed up my sister’s One X ROM and restored it on my phone but the problem is still there.
    P.S: I’m running Viper 2.7.1 ROM.
Is there anything I can do ?
I asked you because you are the only one I trust in tech. Please reply!

    Hi Max,

Tried installing this rom to my phone, but unfortunately it freezes upon loading.
Now since due to safety reasons I cleaned out my SD card can’t reinstall the old rom.
Is there any way to mount the phone to the pc so I can upload a new rom onto it and then reinstall that instead of this?
Pretty much a noob compared to you guys so any help would be GREATLY apprechiated ;)

    Thanks!

    Greg

Hey on the newest insert coin ROM it says I need to update the HBOOT / Firmware to 1.33/1.36
Will other ROMs work on that hboot as well or do I have to make a copy of my current HBOOT to go back to other ROMs? and How would this be done?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
    Sascha
