If you are looking to turn your HTC One X or One XL (AT&T One X) into a pure Nexus device with latest Android 4.3 with root, you may want to check out the latest CM10.2 build I just got to try.
Out of the box, CM10.2 for HTC One X/One XL brings you the latest Android 4.3 along with some goodies like lockscreen customization, DSP Manager, and some more.
Now, these builds are still “beta” and MHL HDMI will not work. As for camera, I was able to get it working flawless by installing Android 4.3 PhotoSphere APK file. After installing it, I was able to get PhotoSphere working 100% along with Focal camera working 100% also.
Other than that, these builds are pretty solid and stable as everything including your calls, SMS, bluetooth, wifi, etc…etc… are working fully out of the box.
So, if you are looking to experience Android 4.3 today, give these CM10.2 builds a try today and do let me know what you think!
Download Android 4.3 Gapps (You MUST use 4.3 gapps, not 4.2!!!)
To install, reboot into recovery, make a backup ROM, wipe data/factory reset, install ROM, install Gapps, reboot into bootloader fastboot mode, flash the boot.img, then reboot.(See How to Install ROM and boot image.)
(No S-Off or bootloader upgrade required on AT&T One X/One XL as I was able to install fine without doing that. However if you end up in a bootloop, you may have to upgrade bootloader. The only way to find out is to install it.)
I highly recommend to install Android 4.3 PhotoSphere camera to get PhotoSphere and to get camera working correctly after installing ROM.
You can install this Flash Player to get flash working with the stock browser.
