For those of you with AT&T One X or international One XL, you are not left behind (while international One X gets full Android 4.2.1 AOKP). There IS an AOKP MR1 Android 4.2.1 ROM also for it.

Of course, this build is a “preview” meaning there’s broken features like the camera and wifi tether.

Otherwise it’s nearly identical to its international One X version with all of latest AOKP ROM Control features and more.

I know this can be heart breaking for some but if you don’t use your camera often, you can still use it as a daily driver.

For all the ROM Control settings, see the video overview on the AOKP for the international One X.

    hi!

Max, where is the tutorial of installing this ROM(AOKP MR1 ROM)

  3. Frank says:

I’ve tried flashing the latest AOKP (MR1, build 5) onto my AT&T One X (evita), flashed boot.img, but for the life of me this ROM will not boot at all. Currently running the latest ViperXL ROM (3.2.6). Downloaded AOKP and GAPPS onto SD Card, booted into recovery (TWRP), wiped data and cache, flashed the two zips, then go into fastboot and flash boot.img. Reboot – I get the white HTC splash screen for a couple of seconds, but that’s it. No unicorn screen, no boot loop, nothing. Just goes dead. What am I doing wrong? I was able to get back into recovery and restore my backed up ViperXL ROM. Tried this twice. If I try it again expecting something different I will fit the definition of insanity.
