For those of you who want to experience the latest Android 4.2.1 and more cool stock Android customizations, check out CM10.1 Android 4.2.1 ROM for your AT&T One X/One XL. This ROM is pretty darn stable, turns your phone into a Nexus 4.
With Android 4.2.1, you will get all of the latest features like buttery-smooth UI, lockscreen widgets, and CyanogenMod customizations to customize your ROMing experience.
I think this is a great ROM also for those of you who are tired of laggy Sense, so definitely try it out if you haven’t yet and do let me know what you think of this ROM!

I installed cm10, everything works except when using youtube app when you turn into landscape , the entire phone freezes and get a white screen. Please help.
Hi Max,
I follower your instructions to the T, but after final reboot, I’m stuck on rotating CyanogenMod Logo.
What is the remedy to that?
Thanks.
AT&T HTC One X, rooted, FW. 2.20, TWRP
reboot to bootloader
fastboot flash boot boot.img
reboot to recovery
wipe dalvik and cache
factory reset in recovery ( if you are coming from non-cm10 roms)
install cm10 (same nightly as the boot.img you flashed in fastboot)
install 10/11 gapps (11/30 gapps are not compatible with CM10 until it goes to jellybean 4.2)
wipe dalvik and cache (although many people say this isn’t necessary here)
reboot
Gapps on this webiste are compatible with this ROM
Wiping dalvik and cashe did it for me, Thanks!
I still have an unresolved issue with Camera app. Freezes up the phone. Any ideas?
Thank you!
ROM works perfectly. Except for the Camera, every time I open the Camera application, or another application that uses the Camera, my phone freezes up, crashes and reboots. Any ideas to make this work?
Which one is better for HTC One X AT&T, CM10 or CM 10.1 ? Is this CM 10.1 stable ?
I’m on 10.1, pretty stable, except for the two major issues:
1. Camera freezes 90% of the time, forcing me to hard reset the phone.
2. Severe battery drain. Compared to the factory ROM, it is 40-50% shorter life. Which is much!
That said, the ROM is pretty good, lightweight, pretty well featured etc… All of my purchased apps are working.
At this point, I’ll be patiently waiting for developer to fix these issues, hope they read this forum and take notes 🙂
And hope they find solutions fast!!! Thanks and good luck.
I just flashed mine with CM 10.1.
Everything seems fine, but once I connect my device with wifi, its gets connected but data is not transferring. Does someone has idea if this is an bug or is there any solution for this ?
About WiFi, I was having problems connecting to my own network, but connecting to other networks was fine. Replaced the router, problem solved! Go figure…
Once I unchecked Automatic date & time and Automatic time zone on Date & time settings, everything worked perfectly.
I have the same issue using latest nightly build for Evita model and your suggestion didn’t help for me.
Other wi-fi networks work fine. One the one at work which used to work ok… Any idea?
As said by proffeecom, the problem was solved when I replaced my router.
Everything works, except that when push the option on camera and want to get rid of the option and push the back button, it does not work, option remains there….also I thought it comes with 360 camera
I wonder if anyone’s reading this thread? We can definitely have some help with camera issue, WiFi issue, fast battery drain and other problems people report…
Now, since I’ve been using this ROM for a week, there’s another issue on the horizon. Every time I start YouTube app, go to HD video stream, it freezes up the phone. I don’t think it was like that in the very beginning, or maybe I didn’t notice. Playing the same videos through any of the browsers, works just fine. I wander what gives?!
Otherwise, great job.
I can’t seem to find the developer options to enable USB debugging. Has anyone found where it’s at or am I just blind and am missing it?
You’re not… I can’t find it either.
I ended up downloading ADB Toggle from the Play Store and that worked out. Still not happy about the fact that this ROM doesn’t have dev. options though. Made me feel trapped into keeping this ROM. Also, hate the fact that the camera no longer zooms.
You have to enable it. It’s not there by default. I believe it’s enabled by
settings-> about phone->build number-> and click on it for 6 times
I could be mistaken but I know one of the options in there you click multiple times and it enables developer options
I can confirm this method works. Thanks, smiffy!
Hey,
I’m running CM10 on my One X (ATT). To get the 360 camera, I had to put it on the phone, and install it thru TWRP. I think the camera is camera42_patched_v2.zip. Look for that. After installing it, I now have 2 cameras & 2 galleries. The 360 mode is VERY tight! However, I cannot take credit for rooting my ATT ball & chain. I owe that to the guys @ HalfCab123. I’m not brave enough to try rooting my own phone yet. Yet, I will flash away once I have root. I did however manage to Root my Nexus 7, so go figure. I’d like to get 4.2.1 on my phone…but I’m gonna need help. And, only if I can find a stable version. Come on CYANOGENMOD…
I could not change fonts. I installed one of the fonts by flip font, but there is no option to change it on display settings.
Can someone please explain me whether AOKP MR1 ROM or this ROM is better ?
Hi!
i just flashed my Htc One X at&t with this ROM i can say it’s running normal except battery draining maybe
the Developer have to fix that because it’s a lightweight ROM…and whats important thing is after installing this ROM am having hard time on LOW VOICE CALL when am on the busy place seam i have to use the earphones to hear
calls
Hi!…
after flashing this ROM i was happy with it but there was problem came up, is sometime freeze and force
phone to restart its just am having that in almost every 30 minutes…please help if anyone know how to fix
I flashed my One X a few days ago.
My main problem is that i can only get 1 or two bars, not only that, it drops the 4G signal, and it takes 3 or 4 reboots for it to pick up the data signal again.
Anyone know how to fix this???
I have a rooted AT&T One X phone. Currently I have CM10 running on my phone. I want to update to CM 10.1. When I flash 10.1 do I also need to flash the boot image as well? I was not sure if this is needed to be done seeing that I am going from CM 10 to CM 10.1. Please let me know about this. Thanks.
After using this ROM for almost 3 months, I figured a serious issue. When I call someone or when someone calls me, sometimes the phone freezes. We can still talk and the reject button doesn’t work. I even updated my phone with the latest updates provided by cyanogen but nothing seems to work. Else, every thing is fine with this ROM. Its fast compared to stock ROM but I have to restart my phone most of the time when I call someone or when I get call from someone. Please let me know if this has got a solution or you guys are also facing this issue. Thank you…
I have to agree with you. It’s been only problems lately, random freezes, more and more so after and during a phone call. Not even mentioning the camera and the YouTube issues. Battery life’s been abysmal… As you said, multiple restarts after each call…. To the point where I’m almost giving up on android. Nothing against in general, but it takes too much time to troubleshoot and update, in hoping to resolve issues. I’m reluctant to go back stock, cause of numerous purchased progs and apparently, there’s nothing else out there, that would deserve attention enough to upgrade.
I’m currently downloading the latest Nightly, will report back these days.
Thanks.
Right now, I am currently on CM 10.1-20130312-nightly-evita. I am tired of rebooting my phone after almost every call. Even, I don’t want to go back to stock ROM as I already feel comfortable with this ROM. It would be fine if this freezing issue after call can be resolved. Other issues don’t effect me much like too much heating while playing game, rebooting itself while playing game,……… The phone should be fine enough to do its general operation.
Hi, people.
I have some problem with my HTC one XL (evita) for asia. If i install any ROMs from CM (even stable) my home wi-fi doesn’t catch. Other wi-fi work well, but not my home access point. I saw this problem on the others ROMs, which built in CM on my smartphone. How can I solve this problem?
Sorry for my bad English.
Looking forward for your answers.
Do you have a 2Gig Wifi Router?
If so, its a bug in the CM 10.1
Use the CM10.1 UNOFFICIAL build, and it should fix the problem
I have this problem in ANY builds from CM (even stable CM10).
Roouter is D-link dir-615.
man…that sucks
i am not sure what else to do.
All i know is that the only CM10.1 that is being supported right now is Cory version.
He is taking logcats to fix bugs etc.
Just ditch the X and go Samsung GSIII.
That finally did it for me.
Just grew increasingly tired of all these problems, and … gave up.
Decided I had better things to do.
Sorry 1X!
i rooted my ATT HTC One X and instaled CM 10.1 but i cant seem to get my weather to update, i have the gps signal on and to automaticly select the city im at but still when i tap Cronus it wont update. any ideas.
