The IceColdJelly AOKP ROM brings you the best of AOKP and Android 4.1.2 which was just released this week.   Also, the latest AOKP ROM Control settings are in this ROM, one of my favorites being the weather widget and calendar widget on the lockscreen.  As an addition, you can also put the weather widget in your notification bar, very handy for those of you sensitive to climate like myself.

InsertCoin Sense 4.5 Beta ROM for Rooted One X!

For those of you who want a sneak peek at what’s coming up with Sense 4.5, you can check out InsertCoin Sense 4.5 Beta ROM. Based off a Chinese Sense 4.5 leak, this ROM brings you the “development” version of Sense 4.5 and you can try out some of the new features like the video camera with more bitrate options. There’s also some other features you will find added with Sense 4.5 and this is a pretty good ROM to get your first look.

MIUI ROM for HTC One X/AT&T One X/One XL!

For this week, check out MIUI ROM for HTC One X and AT&T One X/One XL.

For the international One X, the MIUI ROM comes in ICS form, seems pretty darn solid with everything working out of the box to give you a seamless MIUI experience and even Sense camera is in tact for those of you who have a special place in your heart for continuous shooting mode.

For AT&T One X or One XL, the MIUI ROM comes with Jelly Bean, everything is solid also except bluetooth audio and camera is default Jelly Bean camera, meaning you will lose continuous shooting capabilities.

OrDroid ROM for Rooted HTC One X! [Noob Friendly]

For those of you looking for one good solid ROM with ability to easily add your favorite mods like High Quality Camera Mod, OpenVPN support, NFC enabled for screen-off, and more, check out the OrDroid ROM for your international HTC One X.

This ROM is very simple, stable, and should give you much better battery life over stock while allowing you to still enjoy stock Sense.   It’s not for everyone but I highly recommend to those who are new to flashing ROMs on the HTC One X.

How to Install ROM and Boot Image on HTC One X!

Here’s another “fail-proof” method to install ROMs on your rooted HTC One X.

Why another installation method?

Well, some ROMs require you to flash boot.img separately, otherwise your new custom ROM may not boot. This is due to AROMA installers not flashing boot image or that the developer left out boot image flashing in their zip files. But no worries, this will get your new custom ROM booting fully.

CM10 Jelly Bean ROM is now “unofficially” available for your rooted HTC One X! Good news? EVERYTHING major including bluetooth, GPS, Netflix, Wifi, 3G, and 4G are working out of the box. This is in fact one of the best CM10 Jelly Bean ROMs I have seen with everything working out of the box other than Nexus-branded Google devices like Galaxy Nexus or Nexus S.

How to Do an OTA Update on Rooted HTC One X without Unrooting! [AND KEEP ROOT]

I probably gotten hundreds of e-mails last whole week people asking me how to do an OTA (over-the-air) software update on the International HTC One X (PLEASE DO NOT TRY THIS ON AT&T ONE X OR ONE XL) and I finally got around to it but it took me awhile as there’s no clear step-by-step instructions on the interwebs on how to do this.
